Mary – Love, openness and forgiveness- Advent 4

What vision do you have of Mary in your mind?

What kind of picture of this young mother do you have?

Is it that serene and graceful woman, often shown much later in life than Mary actually was, gazing with love and awe at the baby Jesus?

Or is it of a good looking young girl, with lots of dark hair and full of character, wondering how, where and why she has been given this enormous special task?

It’s Just Not Fair!

The Labourers in the Vineyard

It’s just not fair is it? Why can’t I have the same as you? I was here first!

Matthew 20:1-16 The Labourers in the Vineyard

Manna from heaven and quails eggs weren’t enough!

How much longer are you going to take us into the middle of nowhere? What are we doing? Exodus 16:2-15

Questions questions, questions!

We have a very good sense of fairness, we should after all be treated in exactly the same way, shouldn’t we? We should all have the same rights to have just what we want. That’s right isn’t it? We should after all have the same money for the work we do, we all work hard don’t we?

What’s the answer? Read more in Faith Goes Walkabout under Trinity about these great stories.

Welcome to a spiritual journey

Welcome…if you have just stopped by or have lots of time to browse,

we can always share time to talk.

Together we look ahead and bring faith, work and life together and
just occasionally try to work out what it’s all about!

This website is designed to be a number of things, but at heart is a reflection of a journey in faith. An opportunity to share thoughts, ideas and inspirations.

To let you know where life’s journey is leading and some of the reflections and possibilities that appear on the way. Bringing work and faith together.

The site has lots of chances for you to respond. There will be a diary, a list of services and information about faith based events. You can use my ‘contact me page‘  to send me a message too.

It will be good to know you’ve stopped by.

I look forward to sharing our journey together

Sue Martin
