Every journey has to start somewhere, and we were definitely looking forward to a warmer climate in Israel.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.faithgoeswalkabout.org\/walkaboutjerusalem2020\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/IMG_26381.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-99\" width=\"516\" height=\"386\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.faithgoeswalkabout.org\/walkaboutjerusalem2020\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/IMG_26381.jpg 800w, http:\/\/www.faithgoeswalkabout.org\/walkaboutjerusalem2020\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/IMG_26381-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.faithgoeswalkabout.org\/walkaboutjerusalem2020\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/IMG_26381-768x576.jpg 768w, http:\/\/www.faithgoeswalkabout.org\/walkaboutjerusalem2020\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/IMG_26381-676x507.jpg 676w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 516px) 100vw, 516px\" \/><figcaption>Restal Hotel, Tiberius<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Travel on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easyjet.com\/en\">easyJet <\/a>was fine and we landed at <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tel_Aviv\">Tel Aviv<\/a> airport at 6.30pm. Security was tight but not aggressive and we made it to the coach with our other 52 pilgrims, weary, hungry and ready for the hotel and a hot shower and bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But that was not to happen right away and we met with our guide, Hanna or in English, John, who kept us fed with information  about the week ahead, Israel, our pilgrimage, the Old Testament and more\u2026.
